Complex Case Management’s Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic Update 31/07/2020

The whole team at Complex Case Management have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to provide continuity of service to our clients, whilst also ensuring the highest levels of protection to all our staff. .

Our services remain open, and we are accepting new referalls. We are utilising modern technology to keep in touch with clients, therapists, referrers and support staff in order to cause as little interruption to our client’s rehabilitation progress as possible.

We continue to keep up to date with all government and NHS guidelines, in these ever changing circumstances and have implemented policies and procedures to ensure we can still operate in a safe way.

We have developed robust risk assessments and procedures for all aspects of the business to ensure that all our clients and colleagues can feel safe. We have shared our risk assessments with our clients, deputies and advocates in order to be open and responsive to their needs. These can be shared on request via email to hello@complex-case.com

Where our clients are at risk due to isolation we have proceeded to visit them with risk assessments in place, taking into account all guidance. We are now able to visit all clients where there is a need. We undertake individual risk assessments and rationales before each visit and mitigate any risks identified accordingly.

We have worked closely with our suppliers, the NHS, local authorities, local infection control teams and care home managers where necessary, in order to ensure we have the most up to date local information and have a continuous supply of PPE to protect our staff and clients.

We use the latest technology to instantly update all support staff to any changes in risk assessments, policies and procedures. We have continued to provide the highest standards of training to our support workers and are available 24 hours a day to support our clients and colleagues.

All Case Managers and office staff are currently working from home. Case Managers can be contacted on their individual mobile numbers or emails. The office can still be contacted Monday to Friday 9am-5pm pm 0161 762 1421. Our 24 hour helpline is available on the same number outside of normal office hours.

We are working towards a return to the office and have carried out risk assessments and implemented changes to the working environment to facilitate safe working practices during the pandemic. In the meantime, we encourage all staff to continually check the government website for all up to date advise and information on the pandemic by clicking here

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the CCM Team for their continued dedication to providing a brighter future for our clients during this very difficult time.
