Over the past few months our director Emily Brooks, has been working away to try and get a Headway North Manchester branch off the ground.
Emily initially contacted Headway over the phone to offer her services by volunteering in one of the local branches. She left that call having agreed to try and get together a committee that would start a new branch, serving the Bury, Rochdale and Bolton areas.
The ease at which Emily found others within the industry eager to join forces in helping make this happen was testament to how great a community the rehabilitation sector is!
The committee feel there is a real need for Headway’s amazing support for head injury survivors, their carers and families in these areas and are now looking to compile a list of clients to make use of the service.
