No brain injury experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills.

Our client is a dedicated football fan who loves supporting MCFC and enjoys spending time on his Xbox. We are seeking someone who shares his enthusiasm for gaming and can be a fun companion while also assisting with personal care, household chores, and engaging in activities like cooking and dressing.

To be the perfect match for this role, you MUST:

  • Be outgoing, friendly, and bubbly – able to entertain a teenage boy and have a laugh while helping him with daily tasks and playing Xbox.
  • Embody kindness and punctuality.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and approach.
  • Demonstrate patience and understanding during times of frustration.
  • Be physically capable of safely performing manual handling tasks, including the use of hoists and other equipment.
  • Possess cooking, cleaning, and tidying skills – as domestic tasks are an essential part of the role.
  • Be over 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
  • Hold a full clean UK driver’s license, as driving the client in his own vehicle may be necessary.
  • Welcome the company of the cutest little dog in Manchester.
  • It’s a bonus if you enjoy football, UNO, and board games!

Did we mention you’ll get to play Xbox too? You don’t need to be a gaming expert, but being able to have a laugh while getting beat on FIFA is a must!

In addition to being outgoing, friendly, and bubbly, the ideal candidate should possess the qualities mentioned above. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, including a Case Manager, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT), and Occupational Therapist (OT), contributing to the client’s overall well-being and development.

This role offers competitive pay, ensuring that your dedication and commitment are rightfully recognized within the industry.

Hours:

Wednesday 7.00am-9.00am then 3.00-7.30pm

Thursday 3.00-7.30pm

Friday 3.00-7.30pm

Saturday 8am-7.30pm

Plus additional time to complete documentation
