At Complex Case Management we offer training both in-house and externally to all staff who work alongside our clients. As such we have developed a robust and comprehensive training program for all case managers and care and support workers who are employed by us or on behalf of our clients.
Training can be delivered in several ways:
- By our own in-house qualified trainers providing face to face training sessions at either our offices, in the client’s own homes or a suitable local venue.
- Online by an accredited training provider
- By external trainers who will deliver accredited training courses.
All trainees are assessed once their training is completed to ensure they integrate their learning into everyday practice.
Case managers undertake both clinical observation sessions and formal supervisions with carers and support workers to enable ‘on the job’ training and feedback regarding their competencies for each individual client.
We are registered with Skills for Care who are the strategic body for workforce development in adult social care in England. Part of this registration means contributing to The National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) providing robust evidence to analyse emerging issues for the social care sector. NMDS-SC is designed to create a well-trained workforce capable of meeting the challenges that the social care sector face.
As part of their inspection process our training quality and provision are also audited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
